Without a doubt the latest Fiat punto is the best looking hot hatch you can buy and now they have a Abarth version out with a mighty 175 hp from a tiny little 1.4 engine which is capable of doing 0-60 in 7.7 seconds they also have 153 hp version which is capable of 0-60 in 8.5 seconds and which is £3000 cheaper and is the one I would go for.

Audi TT the hairdresser car

Audi’s all new TT Roadster is shaping up to be an impressive ride. Its aggressive new styling gives the front end a more purposeful stance. The new body styling also improves the aerodynamics making the car more slippery.
Thankfully these looks have been backed up with power to match. A range topping 3.2 V6 propels this top down beauty from 0-62 in 5.9 secs and onto a limited top speed of 155mph. The smaller 2.0 turbo engine now benefits from VW’s FSI technology, proven in the hugely successful Golf GTI, meaning improved performance and fuel economy.
Suspension damping is rarely something to get excited about but the new roadster showcases Audi’s ground breaking new suspension set up. Housed in the damping fluid are microscopic pieces of metal. When a button is pressed an electrical charge causes the metal pieces to firm up the suspension. Clever huh?
3.2 V6 – OTR £31,535
2.0 T FSI – OTR £26,915
