Renault Fluence

Renault Fluence is a new model that replaces the Renault Megane saloon. Its production is conducted in the Oyak-Renault factory in Bursa (Turkey).

The new Renault saloon is sold with two equipment levels (Expression and Dynamique). These two finishes combine with three engines: a 1.6 16v 110 bhp petrol and two diesel common rail dCi 85 and 105 hp. Like the previous model, the new Renault Clio RS Range 2009 keeps the air diffuser, an aerodynamic element that prevents the rear off, keeping it stable at high speed. The diffuser channels airflow to increase the suction effect. The radius of curvature creates a depression below the floor.

A more retail interior
Like the previous model, stress inside the pedal footrest aluminum, perforated leather steering wheel with yellow stitching and signal apparent in the 'point 0'. By contrast, unlike its predecessor, the lap counter has a background painted in yellow (in the previous Clio RS was red). This solution, consisting of pieces of aluminum that will ease the burden, ensuring accuracy and motor vehicle under any circumstances. The front end provides greater efficiency to be insensitive to the various forces under load, both in the tight corners and on the straights. Moreover, the front stabilizer bar is thicker (increases of 20 to 21 mm).

The rear suspension also features amendments (the knuckle are longer to increase the rear track). Their rigidity increases 25% over the previous model and adopts a 30-mm stabilizer bar.

According to Renault, the new Clio RS Range 2009 is more comfortable than its predecessor (with the chassis "Sport" series), thanks to shock absorbers "double effect" to dissipate the energy absorbed by an additional set of valves.

The specific development of Continental Sport Contact 3 tires with dimensions 215/45 R17 now offers a management response faster and more accurately. Furthermore, the rolling resistance is reduced by 5% compared with the previous Clio RS. Aluminum wheels lose 1 kg per wheel.

Chassis Cup: racing almost
With a lowered height 7 mm with respect to the Sport chassis, its center of gravity lower improvement in performance curves due to lower displacement load. Its ability to rotate map is even better with improved cushioning some adjustments and increasing the firmness of the springs compared to the Sport chassis (27% more in the front and 30% higher in back).
